Skilled gamer and Epson’s special guest, Noel Nuo Yao, also attended to demonstrate her gaming experience using Epson projectors
The Kuala Lumpur International Audio Visual Show (KLIAVS) returned to Malaysia for the 26th time, after a two-year hiatus caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The exhibition showcased the latest technology and innovations available from the world’s audio and video consumer electronics companies.
Epson Malaysia also participated at the premier HiFi and home theatre exhibition, marking Epson’s 5th year at KLIAVS.
The company displayed a full range of home projector line-ups which touched on three themes, namely Family Bonding, Me-Time, and Reconnecting. Home projector models such as EH-TW7000, EH-LS500B, EF-11, EF-12, EH-TW5825, EH-TW9400, and EH-LS12000B were part of product line-up at the KLIAVS.
Popular gamer Noel Nuo Yao also attended as Epson’s special guest to demonstrate her gaming experience. Noel used her gaming skills to test projectors such as the EH-LS12000B, which was designed specifically for gamers.
The projector can support 4K gaming at 120 frames per second and has input lag times of less than 20 milliseconds. This enables serious gamers to fully utilise the latest generation of gaming consoles as well as higher-end gaming PCs.
Ng Ngee Khiang, Managing Director of Epson Malaysia, said, “In today’s society, we see a surging demand for digital screening as we move towards digitalization. There are various functions that projectors offer to meet the different needs that we have. Rather than opting for costlier smart TVs, today’s projectors can deliver cinematic picture quality and the flexibility to turn rooms into multi-functional spaces that can accommodate a workout, gaming, or family movie night.”
“Gaming and e-sports, both as a hobby and competitive pursuit, is another entertainment trend that has grown significantly in Southeast Asia. It is also a market that we are particularly interested to tap into. In 2019, the sector recorded year-on-year growth of 16%. The vast and intriguing opportunities in the region make it a diverse market to watch,” Ng added.
The KLIAVS which took place from 28 October – 30 October at the InterContinental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur this year, has received over 9,000 attendees.
